SUMMARY:Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (L-0146)
DESCRIPTION:The Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Program is an intermediate-level course that provides a comprehensive overview of exercise design along with practical skill development in accordance with the HSEEP Doctrine. The course uses activities that will give participants an opportunity to interact with many of the templates and other materials that are provided by the National Exercise Division to ensure exercises are conducted in a consistent manner. Upon completion of this course\, participants will gain a better understanding of what constitutes an HSEEP consistent exercise.\nMain Topics Covered in this Course Include:\n•	HSEEP Fundamentals\n•	HSEEP Program Management\n•	Exercise Design and Development\n•	Exercise Conduct\n•	Exercise Evaluation\n•	Exercise Improvement Planning \nThis two day class is offered by the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency with instructors William Donahue\, David M. Bryant\, and James J. McLoughlin in room 108. If you have taken the Introduction to Exercises Independent Study at http://www.training.fema.gov/is/\, please bring a copy of your IS-120 certificate or transcript to class. HSEEP is for members of an exercise design team who fulfill a role in one of the following areas of the exercise design process: design\, development\, conduct\, evaluation or improvement process for an exercise. The primary audience for the course is for training officers\, exercise managers\, and public safety officials that will utilize the exercise and evaluation system.Your online justification will be carefully reviewed for course participation. Upon acceptance into this course\, you will be required to download and fill out the General Admission Application\, FEMA Form 119.
